I am Gamin Kim, a junior from Shekou International School, and it is my utmost honor to serve as your Secretary General. Ever since joining Model United Nations as a 7th grader, I have been developing a keen passion for political science, debate, and collaboration. MUN gave me the time to delve into my passion with others. It is my goal to share this passion for MUN through this year’s conference. Amid the suffering and flaws prevalent in our world, I believe MUN conferences like SISMUN serve as an opportunity all of us to explore, reflect, and bring about a change as the next generation to ultimately to resolve the issues we collectively face. 

 

With that being said, I look forward to meeting you all at SISMUN 2024.

My name is Chirag Jadhav, and I have the incredible honour of serving as your Under-Secretary-General for SISMUN 2024. As a high school senior, this marks my sixth year in the MUN program.

We all follow the news, but at MUN, we go beyond simply observing current events. We step into the shoes of those fighting for what's right, facing uncertainty and striving for solutions. It's through this united effort, representing our nations that we can overcome challenges. Participating in global discussions and forging friendships along the way makes MUN such a rewarding experience. At SISMUN 2024, we expect nothing less.

My name is Emma Kim, and it is my pleasure to serve as the Deputy Secretary General for the fifth SIS Model United Nations conference. I am a junior at Shekou International School, and this is my fifth year in MUN. 

 

Joining MUN in eight grade as someone not accustomed to public speaking, I didn’t know it would become one of my greatest passions. Initially challenging, I gradually gained confidence in expressing my opinions throughout the conference. MUN helped me not only improve my public speaking skills but also develop a deeper and wider understanding of the world. Through this, I once again realized that MUN can inspire us all and make a difference on a global scale. I hope SISMUN 2024 can ignite a passion for MUN in you all and give you a memorable experience.
