Honorable chairs, fellow students, delegates, and esteemed guests, I’m Chloe Park, a senior at Shekou International School. It is my privilege to serve as your Secretary General for SISMUN 2026.

I walked into my first MUN conference in 9th grade with no clue what MUN was about, just pure curiosity.

Along this journey, I learned to listen across differences, to find my voice in rooms full of strangers, and to realize that diplomacy is about understanding, not just winning.

I hope SISMUN 2026 can give you a memorable, fun experience, where - just like what it is meant to be!

Honorable directors, fellow chairs, passionate delegates, and most-esteemed guests,

Greetings, everyone. My name is Irene Seohyun Lee, a senior at Shekou International School, and it is my utmost honor to welcome you to SISMUN 2026 as your Under Secretary-General.

 

I’ve been actively involved in Model United Nations since 2023, collecting countless precious memories as a delegate and as a chair, and soon, as a member of the Secretariat! I began my MUN journey right here at SISMUN—never imagining I would have the privilege of helping organize the very conference several years later. For that reason, this iteration of SISMUN holds a special place in my heart.

 

After months of preparation and the compelling debates that await us, I am very much looking forward to a wonderful conference ahead. I hope SISMUN 2026 will be an unforgettable experience for each and every one of you—a special place where you challenge and broaden your perspectives, discover the joy of collaboration and diplomacy, and leave with something to remember, whether that be lasting memories, valuable lessons, or, preferably, both.

 

Most of all, I hope your time at SISMUN 2026 feels respectful, inspiring, and personal. I hope it becomes more than simply another conference, but the one that stays with you throughout your MUN journey—just as every SISMUN has stayed with me.

Hello, distinguished directors, prestigious chairs, honorable delegates, and esteemed guests. I am Isaac, the Deputy Secretary General of SISMUN 2026. I’ve been participating in MUN since 2022. I’ve had 4 experiences as a delegate and 7 experiences as a chair.

Here are a couple of things about me. I love playing and watching football. Not only that, but I also love playing video games. Appreciating art right now is quite hard (especially due to AI), so I try to do so by watching cinema and TV series, as well as listening to music — all of which are art. I also quite like singing.

I am incredibly honored and excited to be your DSG. Leading this conference will be an opportunity of a lifetime, and I am looking forward to meeting everyone I am familiar with, but also new faces. Hope this will be an insightful — but also fun! — event for you. All the best, and make the most of it.
